Dirtblonde storms Alternative Press VIP Party with rockin’ DJ Set!

Dirtblonde closed the popular AP Party at South By Southwest 2009 with a rockin’ DJ set that left people dancing on top of the benches. The crowd who packed Terrace 59 seemed to really enjoy our set…

The Alternative Press VIP do at Terrace 59 was definitely the best party we’ve been to at SXSW 2009…and the fact we were DJ-ing just made it better for us…we enjoyed it as much as the crowd who packed the venue.

The party was a big deal for Dirtblonde, too, because AP hosts two SXSW events every year and we did the first and most “exclusive” one, at Terrace 59 – the invitation only cocktail party geared toward industry executives & other VIP types.

According to AP, this intimate cocktail hour draws over 1,000 VIPs from Levi’s, Apple, eMusic, Sony, Zune, RedOctane, Epitaph Records, Hot Topic, SideOneDummy Records, etc. Past special guest appearances include Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), Tommie Sunshine, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and more…

Of course, free drinks, as usual, always help…and everyone had a great time!

…and as the sun started to set, to the sound of The Rolling Stones, our job was done…people were happy, drunk and we set off to do other things for the rest of the night, but that’s another story.
