Ivan and his TC200…check it out!

Dirtblonde’s guitarist Ivan has been playing Vintage guitars for some time now! The JHS website shows Ivan at a Catch Bar gig in London last year, using a black Vintage TC200 – excellent, cheap Telecaster-style guitar, which was used to record most of the band’s “White Noise, Rubber Heart” mini-album, and then subsequently smashed at a Glasgow gig.

Ivan currently plays an Epiphone Riviera, Epiphone Olympic and Epiphone Les Paul Junior, but also keeps a battered Vintage V100WR exclusively  for the apocalyptic, chaotic ‘Teenage Bride’ song (the guitar always remains tuned to the Velvet Underground’s “the ostrich” tuning!!!)

Like any Jack White fan will know…cheap guitars are COOL!

Ivan is also using the new Danelectro CT1 Cool Cat tremolo and Dunlop CryBaby Wah…but enough of guitar wank talk for now!!!
