TOKEN ROSE VIDEO: DAY ONE
On an otherwise boring Sunday afternoon (7th August) Dirtblonde started shooting the video for the band’s forthcoming single, ‘Token Rose’, which will be released in September.
Filming took place in the heart of Toxteth. The video is being directed by a very talented Spanish videomaker/ photographer, Javier, who’s just moved to Liverpool!
Work on the video started last month in Madrid, where most scenes without the band were filmed.
On this occasion we only filmed some scenes with Lula, and, apart from the house being extra hot & stuffy – due to the heat of the spotlight and the fact all windows were covered with tinfoil for extra darkness (!!!) – everything went down smoothly.
Filming will contine in the next few weeks, and work on Dirtblonde’s new album, ‘Hours’ carries on at Sandhills studios in Liverpool.
Expect to hear – and watch – the results very soon!
